LUFT 10, At Universal Studios Backlot, The Air Era Was Breathtaking
Luftgekühlt, a marque display in its tenth year - LUFT 10, held at the iconic Universal Studios Backlot, was a celebration of the air-cooled Porsche era in a setting as cinematic as the cars themselves. An Octoberfest celebration of a German marque in the most dramatic way (event held October 5, 2024).

Headquartered in Reno, Nevada, PCNA was responsible for just three model lines in 1984 – the 944, 928 and the 911. It proved to be an exciting year for the brand. At Le Mans, Porsche cars occupied eight of the top nine finishing positions – including winning the race outright with the mighty 956B. Meanwhile, away from the track (and mostly away from roads) a Porsche car won the grueling Paris-Dakar rally in a G series 911.
Rennsport Reunion 7 Will Debut The Porsche Mission X Concept Car
The exciting Mission X concept study will visit the U.S. for the first time this fall, celebrating its U.S. debut at Rennsport Reunion 7 at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca near Monterey, California from September 28 to October 1.

Dr. Porsche Appointed As Its First Honorary Board Member Of The Petersen Automotive Museum
Nearing its 25th anniversary as a world leader in automotive thought, the Petersen Automotive Museum today announced that Dr. Wolfgang Porsche will be its first honorary board member. Dr. Porsche has accepted the unanimous invitation of the Petersen Board of Directors to serve alongside Founding Chairman Bruce Meyer, Chairman Peter Mullin, Vice Chairman David Sydorick and other industry dignitaries.

Later in 2016, Porsche will offer two new Cayenne Platinum Edition models. Porsche uses the Platinum Edition designation for selected configurations that are offered for only a limited time. The Cayenne and Cayenne S E-Hybrid Platinum Edition variants will be recognizable by their distinctive sporty appearance. Both models offer a high level of content at an attractive price. For example, large 20-inch RS Spyder design wheels are housed in wider wheel arches and the special interior is dominated by leather eight-way electrically adjustable sport seats with Alcantara® center panels, Porsche crest on the head rests, and stainless steel door sills with illuminated "Platinum Edition" lettering.
